Scrapbooking Project Update – Finale

Months ago my cousins and I decided to create a scrapbook for my grandmother for Christmas. Little did we know that it would turn into this epic project including about 30 12 x 12 scrapbooking pages and 15 8 x 8 pages. Also what started out as one scrapbook quickly turned into two.

Although, we all felt like this was an epic project we put on. It was all worth it to see their reactions for our family Christmas party. They meaning my grandmother and grandfather, both really loved their scrapbooks and could tell that a lot of work, thought and love went into creating them.

I have tons of pictures to share from the scrapbook and some of the scrapbooking tips and tricks we used to create our pages.

Stay tuned.

Scraping Project Update

Andrew, Mark and I went to Michael’s today because they are having a sale on some of their scrapbooking items.
I was able to get a new scrapbook to start the never ending project today at 45% off. Cool deal hunh. Mark and Andrew helped me to pick it out in hopes that you know who is going to like it.
I made Andrew pick a few sheets of paper as well because those were 5 for $1.00. Sometimes you can get a better deal than that but beggers cant be choosers.. haha!
I need to call everyone to schedule some together time again to discuss strategy and to see how schedules are going to work out for everyone to be able to participate.
I wish some of the scrapbooking materials werent so expensive. You could really run yourself in the whole if you bought everything. Luckily I try to save things aside that I know that I may use someday so that I dont have to buy everything in the store. I do buy some scrapbooking things though..
I had a really good painting idea for one of the pages and it includes a “few things I love about you” section. This is going to help so that I did not have to buy a scrap piece with that saying out it with lines. I am not making it myself.. how efficient! lol
Well that is about all that is happening with the scrapping project but we still have a few months left to get our heads on straight.
